    Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welder

    SIDMAC / KONIG is a fast-growing engineering and manufacturing company in Abbotsford, BC, seeking top-notch fabricators with the right skills, experience, and dedication. Our passion for excellence is undeniable and is apparent in the quality of the state-of-the-art equipment we have manufactured over the years.

    Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.):

    • Pressure Welding Certification
    • Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate

    Equipment and Machinery Experience:

    • Gas welding machine

    Additional Skills:

    • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals and processes
    • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications

    Area of Specialization:

    • Pressure vessels
    • Ornamental work
    • Fencing, balconies, stairs and railings
    • Factory assembly
    • Custom fabrication
    • Structural construction

    Weight Handling:

    • Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

    Welding Techniques:

    • Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG)
    • Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW)

    • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
